KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Delivery of assigned financial plans as well as Key Performance Indicators
- Provides proactive job management, pertaining to status of jobs and quality of repair and scheduling of work including reviewing and closing all work orders
- Weekly preparation and tracking of all KPI
- Coordinate and approve the schedules and time worked of all subordinate employees
- Ensure that all preventative maintenance and repair programs are being followed
- Perform quality checks
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are properly documented
- Provide training for all subordinate personnel
- Assist subordinates in making decisions concerning the efficiency of shop operations
- Supervise shop operations to ensure compliance according to all company policies including but not limited to safety, quality, environmental and financial
- Ensure the proper management and control of parts inventories
- Coordinates with cross functional supervisors’ and managers to ensure equipment needs are being met
- Participate as a contributing member on a cross functional teams as required to achieve business goals
- Ensure communications are maintained with all internal and external groups
- Complete administrative functions including filling, shop work orders etc
- Data collection, analysis, data entry and reporting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three years experience in a service or transportation field
- High School / Post secondary education
- Strong organization and administrative skill, including the ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong technical skills using MS Office, Outlook, RTA, and the ability to actively reference the internet
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
