Web Master
Location: Stratford, Ontario
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated Web Master to join our team. This individual will be working out of a client location inStratford. This person will be responsible for administering and supporting the client’s applications through troubleshooting and upgrades. The Applications Support Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining the content and technology of the client’s website.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Satisfaction
- Develop and maintain documentation for environments
- Proactively suggest and implement best practices to improve quality of work, working process, and technology standards, including running regular project audits and post mortems
- Manage customer communication

- Software licensing administration
- GIS administration
- SQL Server Database maintenance, including backups and running of scripts
- Support the client’s applications through troubleshooting errors and coordinating with vendors for support
- Test and review application upgrades for the client
- Upgrade/implement application in conjunction with recommendations from the Manager of IT and the Team Lead

- Maintain current website as it relates to web content
- Develop changes on website in coordination with stakeholders and project manager
- Coordinate with various departments as it relates to web changes and development
- Make recommendations to the current site and tools used to effectively manage the website
- Evaluate and make recommendations as it relates to the in-house developed web content management system
- Maintain articles, audio/video files, images, marketing material, photographs
- Respond to webmaster inquiries in coordination with the appropriate responses
- Prioritizes and work with departments to address any web issues and/or requests from the centralized ticketing system

The ideal candidate will have:
- Certification and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- 3 Years of website development
- 3 Years application support
- Approach:
- Continuously learning

- Organized and attention to detail
- Customer service orientated and has a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Previous experience with SQL databases
