Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Administers credit portfolio Maintains loan documentation current Prepares loan review exception reports Prepares routine correspondence for clients with credit relationships Maintains credit files Interviews applicants and requests specified information for credit application Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting credit facilities or submits applications to Private Banking Manager or General Manager for verification and recommendation Corresponds with or interviews applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information Refers credit requests to senior management and/or Miami Agency Risk Management Committee for approval Ensures credit documentation is complete and accurate according to policy Confers with Corporate and Private Banking Manager or General Manager-Miami Agency in order to resolve problems with application and/or missing information Analyzes potential markets to develop prospects for credit Coordinates with account managers in Spain the loan disbursement process, including review of legal and financial documentation, documentation and perfection of collateral or guarantees, verification of indebtedness limits, internal credit approval, etc. Assists the Corporate and Private Banking Manager with verification of documentation of client relationships at the Agency Collaborates with personal attention to clients who visit the Agency Assists the commercial team in Spain and provides support with respect to concerns about regulatory matters Prepares and presents credit proposals to the Credit Risk Committee Complies and types statistical reports Helps clients complete applications for bank services, such as wire transfers Interviews clients to obtain information and explain available financial services such as checking, money market, and time deposit accounts and investment services Reviews account documentation and follows-up on missing and/or incomplete documentation Obtains and processes changes to customer documentation (e.g., signatures, address changes, etc.) Compliance Responsibilities In the performance of their duties, all Agency staff members are required to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1979, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Bank Bribery Amendments Act Requirements Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university At least two (2) years related experience and/or training Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, regulatory authorities, auditors, and the general public Ability to speak, understand, read and write Spanish equivalent to high school graduate level Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
