Job Responsibilities and Requirements: An advanced degree in environmental planning, environmental sciences, transportation planning or a related field. 5 years of experience in environmental planning focusing on NEPA document preparation, specifically CEs, EAs and EISs. Experience with transportation projects a plus; Experience with other environmental regulations such as Section 404, Section 106, Section 7, Section 4(f), and Environmental Justice; Proven expertise providing leadership and hands-on working experience authoring environmental documents and/or permit applications; Independent research and problem solving abilities and outstanding written and oral communication skills; and Professional certification such as AICP, or CEP desired.
