Trial Ready Litigation Paralegal Duties: Will be responsible for various complex defense litigation matters. Draft Legal documents. Compile, analyze and summarize data. Perform Legal research. Manage files to ensure information is organized according to standards. Perform factual and technical investigation and analysis of case issues. Assist in all phases of case preparation including discovery and Trial. Maintain generic files. Prepare for and attend nationwide trials. Attend in-house CLE's and actively participate in team meetings. Account for daily time and detail of work on each case through an online time tracking system. Apply Summation, Trial Director and Case Logistics tools to cases (receive free in-house training on these elite litigation support tools. Maintain experienced-level of expertise in relevant software programs. Supervise and evaluate assigned Legal Secretary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by leadership.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Hands-on experience using litigation support tools preferred OR evidence of the ability to readily learn and effectively apply litigation support tools to the position. 4+ years of previous litigation experience preferred. Proven experience in a courtroom. Advanced research and Writing skills. Superior Client Service skills. Experience using Summation, Trial Director, Case Logistics and CompuLaw tools preferred. Proven success in meeting Attorney expectations as part of the case team. Proven organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Some Travel may be required.
