Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities for assigned areas Company Values Forthright - walk the talk, candid, trustworthy, straightforward Commitment - responsibility, personal sacrifice, willingness Driven - competitive, continually improving, desire to be the best Team - win: win, respect, cooperation, consideration, selfless Fun - positive, celebrates, passionate, enthusiastic Education/Experience Preferred Four year college degree in Computer Science or other related field Six years plus experience in managing networks, servers, database systems or other infrastructural based technologies Four years of leading a team or experience leading others Three years of strategic planning for assigned area Two years of Project Management Two years of Resource Management experience One year of managing budgetary needs for assigned area Leadership training Exposure to diversity and appropriate workplace training or processes Exposure to effective public speaking training Qualities Desired Strategic Open-minded with ability to develop solutions beyond current skill set Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner with all levels of staff Ability to train others and build a positive team focused working environment Ability to provide guidance to team members in efforts to promote teamwork Professional verbal and written communication skills Expert Problem solving and reasoning skills Value-driven, intuitive leader with team attitude and ability to empower others Responsibilities Provides leadership, direction, guidance and mentoring to all Team Leads and Members of assigned areas Expertly analyzes the demands on the team(s) and establishes priorities Responsible for providing appropriate time tracking, trend analysis, work breakdown reporting and other measurements for assigned areas Building effective teams that understand how they impact the organization Establishes plans and administers the overall policies and goals for assigned team(s) Manage budgetary responsibilities for assigned areas Establish and maintain a high level of customer service relative to internal and external customers Ensure the integrity, reliability and recoverability of infrastructure and its systems Provides technological leadership as necessary Ensures all Team Members participate in career path planning and training is appropriately identified Suggest process improvements where appropriate Work with leadership in other areas to solve problems and present solutions while maintain positive relationship Identify and propose solutions for areas of risk or exposure Provide recommendations for Team Member additions, skill developmental areas and opportunities for learning Manage performance and personnel issues through to an effective resolution Ensure Business Continuity needs are being addressed Develop appropriate processes within and between teams Carry out team member reviews and orientations Daily Skills.
