Job Responsibilities and Requirements: General reception duties including receiving, screening and directing visitors, answering telephone calls and routing calls appropriately, and providing information about CCSJ and/or alternate resources. Providing Clerical support when needed. A high degree of professionalism is required of the program Receptionist since this position represents Catholic Charities to clients, corporate sponsors and the community at large. Attendance and punctuality are conditions of employment in this position. Bilingual Spanish/English skills or Bilingual/ Vietnamese/English preferred. Customer Service and Telephone Skills: Receptionist duties include greeting clients, providing Customer Service, switchboard/answering telephones/demonstrating professional telephone etiquette, routing calls correctly, taking complete messages, obtaining information from Staff members about their schedules, notifying Staff members about client arrivals, managing the restroom key. And updating or expanding the resource/reference Computer Skills: May use a variety of word processing functions. High school diploma or GED. Experience: Two years previous experience handling a Front Desk, heavy telephones, working with the public and acting as a resource to clients and internal customers in a bilingual setting (English/Spanish) required. Required knowledge, skills & abilities: Demonstrated superior time Management skills. Able to multi-task; uses good judgment and decision-making. Provides outstanding telephone/switchboard skills and will not use Speaker Phone feature out of respect for client privacy/confidentiality. Excellent Customer Service and Communications: energetic, friendly, flexible, dependable. Combination of sensitivity and firmness in dealing with a wide range of clients and demands; ensure client confidentiality in all cases.
