Litigation Paralegal The candidate will arrange and prepare pleadings and discovery in federal and state court civil matters and arbitration proceedings. Will analyze and organize documents and data from materials produced during discovery; coordinate document Production; analyze and review privileged documents. Prepare deposition and record subpoenas according to state and federal regulation; coordinate Production of documents and summarize records; prepare and respond to discovery requests; prepare deposition summaries. Prepare for Trial; preparation and Management of Trial exhibits and other Trial related presentations. Assist with preparation of federal and state Administrative filings. Conduct basic Lexis and Pacer research. Update and maintain docket.
A High School Diploma is required; Paralegal Certification and or Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Must have 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in Employment Law. Knowledge of Federal and Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure is required. Should have proficiency in Windows and Lexis environments. Excellent analytical, attention to detail, Planning and organizing, and written and oral communication skills are needed.
