Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: IT Program/Project Manager: This senior level project manager is responsible for managing all aspects of projects. This individual must have demonstrated ability to lead and manage across technology disciplines in a matrix organization. Candidate must have prior success providing status, seeking approvals, and influencing using various communication methods including presentations, written and verbal. This role will have accountability for a project/program including scope, schedule, audit and financials. Specific responsibilities include: Develops detailed work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports. Interfaces with senior project staff regarding status of projects. Single point of contact for all delivery related issues (change management, event management, etc.). Transitions to Operations, after implementation and testing successful Conducts periodic meetings to review performance, status, milestones and issues/risks. Budget responsibilities of project. Achieves targeted budget numbers or under project budget. Resolve problems concerning the projects; contact vendors for support when necessary; facilitate resolution to risks/issues and resolve problems involving clients with optimum speed and efficiency. Conducts deliverable review meetings with customer, and obtains acceptance of deliverables from customers. Coordinates and may provide system admin support for Project Office/technology, requirement, testing, and project management tools. Oversees the coordination and gathering of all estimations of projects. Oversees medium to large size/moderately to highly complex projects. Coordinates with the Resource Manager and line managers for project related resources. Indoctrinates members as part of the project team and assigns tasks. Coordinates with key support groups to integrate their deliverables into the project plan. Prepares resource plan and synchronizes it with the project plan / resource loads the project plan. Perform resource workload modeling and prediction tasks for projects. Monitors and manages execution of project plans and resources to plan. Compiles and delivers weekly roll-up status review. Formulates and incorporates successes and lessons into best practices for rest of organization to leverage. Contact with users, external service providers, and other technical specialists as needed. Qualifications: Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated professional project management skills including prior implementation experience in a complex, high tech environment. This includes, but not limited to: solid project management acumen, effectively managing multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment. Strong customer focus and management of client expectations; ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the IT group's knowledge of and concern for users' business needs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience is acceptable. At least five (5) years of experience in a technology focused project management and/or technical environment. High degree of proficiency in project management methods and techniques. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of management and ability to motivate teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems; excellent teamwork skills. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences. Ability to write clear proposals, project plans and technical documents. Self-motivated, drives to closure. Demonstrated commitment to cost effectiveness, quality customer service and operational efficiency. Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most cost-effective solution.
