Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities of the role include: -Retrieve files from K-4 InDesign and resize and or redesign print graphics, photos, tables and illustrations to fit mobile product applications and web image specifications -Collaborate with editors, graphic designers, art directors, and producers to determine creative ways to display complex print illustrations, data visualizations, charts, and tables for the various mobile products -Deconstruct and reconfigure illustrations, tables, and charts for various displays, ensuring that all versions retain their meaning and impact -Participate in periodic reviews of the mobile product suite to discuss ways to improve visual content and the processes for delivery -Track and review the development of magazine and other mobile product art and graphics so that complex material can be identified early; collaborate with art and graphics directors on ways to adapt content for mobile products Qualifications: -Minimum three years' experience in graphic design, Web design, photo retouching, flash and html production, and/or related fields -3 years experience with inDesign and Photoshop -3 years experience with Adobe Suite, Adobe InCopy, Illustrator, and Acrobat -Familiarity with Web content, from both a user's and producer's perspective -Must work well with editors, copyeditors, graphics/dataviz designers, photo editors, producers, video producers/editors -Must have the skill and judgment to ensure that all materials posted meet Company's editorial standards -Excellent time/project management skills; ability to multi-task -Must be upbeat, self-motivated, and independent.
