Corporate Paralegal

Conflicts Analyst - Firmwide Intake Services Department Duties: Will review and analyze conflict of interest reports and other related information to identify potential conflicts of interest and provide meaningful information upon request, including verification of client name, prepare clear and concise reports documenting the results of specific conflict searches and highlighting the areas of potential conflict, conduct research in the firm's internal databases and external databases, including both simple and complex searches, on personal and corporate names for the purpose of determining whether actual or potential conflicts exist, work with attorneys to document conflict clearances on new business submissions, review submitted data for new client and client/matter acceptance and research accuracy and quality of information as well as potential client relationships.

Requirements: The applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or Business and 2+ years of experience in a law firm as a Legal Assistant or in conflicts/new business intake Operations. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong research skills. Knowledge of database architecture or programming a plus. Proven aptitude to learn new software applications. Prior experience in utilizing Elite Enterprise or other automated conflicts systems is preferred. Interpersonal communication skills are necessary to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients and Staff.
