WAREHOUSE SCHEDULER

We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Scheduler to join our Warehouse team.

The responsibilities of this role would include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain a balanced warehouse schedule to given capacities and inventory levels
  • Review unscheduled report on a daily basis for new customer demand
  • Develop daily workload for warehouse including generating work orders for receiving and picking
  • Work closely with purchasing on product requirements and receiving schedules
  • Manage logistics and shipments direct out of the warehouse; including appropriate shipping and customs documents
  • Determine best logistic routes and carriers based on cost and service
  • Hands on management of any expedited order through to shipment
  • Work closely with production logistics to match up customers warehouse products with manufactured items
  • Attend weekly match up meetings with CSRs and logistics
  • Maintain inventory cycle counts through tracking and reporting
  • Be the primary contact for the CSR service group
  • Support quality, purchasing and supply management with tracking of product non-conformances

Required experience would include:
o   2-3 years work experience, preferably in the area of scheduling

Experience considered an asset would include:
o   Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
o   Previous warehouse experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following competencies and/or abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, objectives and deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Superior communication skills with all levels of management
  • Strong service orientation
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to follow through and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Take responsibility and demonstrate initiative
