Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Maximize sales and profitability by analyzing and making recommendations to merchandise strategy Devise product strategies to identify categories and specific products that will appeal to our target customers Develop merchandise strategies to maximize conversion and ticket, and to encourage cross-sell among merchandise and influencer categories Analyze site metrics to track selling, identify key trends and new opportunities Build upon existing vendor relationships and identify potential suppliers of new exclusive merchandise Monitor industry trends and provide feedback from evaluating competition The ideal candidate: 5 years buying experience in fashion and/or home d cor industry Must have strong vendor relationships in women s accessories and/or home d cor, particular in the luxury sector Excellent retail math acumen and negotiation skills Proven track record of educational and professional excellence Strong understanding of our style and target customer: Cosmopolitan and Modern Women Our Offering: Initial compensation: consulting fee and gross revenue sharing Potential compensation: equity in our young, entrepreneurial firm.
