Marketing Coordinator

 

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Marketing Coordinator assists the Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Marketing with the planning, implementation and administration of marketing and business development programs. This position works closely with other members of the Marketing Department and the Managing Directors/Sales Teams. Responsibilities: Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and assist in qualifying the opportunity, identifying sales team, drafting contents, attending sales team meetings, and establishing deadlines Write, edit and design/format proposals and new business presentations that lead to increased sales; Develop high-impact business development documents reflecting the firm s brand identity, messaging and positioning within tight deadlines; Create and distribute monthly pipeline report of prospect opportunities and status Coordinate final proposal/presentation production, including printing and binding hard copies, emailing electronic copies, and confirming delivery Assist with coordinating event logistics, including database development, invitations, RSVPs, etc. for client, prospect, and networking events; Coordinate the distribution of internal and external marketing literature; Maintain the contact management database system and coordinate the development of mailing lists; Research and prepare target prospect lists; Research prospects and industries; Assist in writing and creating presentations; Other responsibilities as necessary. Skills/Experience/Education: BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, or English strongly preferred. Advanced degree a plus; 0-3 years of experience working in a marketing department of a professional services firm, strongly preferred; Strong Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills required; Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop, or other design software experience preferred; Experience assisting with the creation and administration of a professional services marketing program and have an understanding of what good, quality creative design looks like preferred; Experience working with creative vendors; Excellent written and oral communications skills required; Excellent analytical and research skills necessary; The ability to self-direct, organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects a must.
