Operations Assistant Hamilton

 

Operations Assistant:

Busy building/construction materials distributor with locations across Canada has an opportunity for the right individual in their Toronto location. We specialize in the distribution to the Roofing and Siding trades so direct knowledge and experience within these trades will be a prerequisite.

Must have:
Proven people skills and leadership.

Willingness to achieve success and planning goals.

Ability to communicate as well as read and write in English.

An enthusiastic goal driven personality.

Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.

Ability to travel within Ontario.

Previous experience in inventory, theft prevention, accounting and auditing.

Duties include:
Purchasing directives.

Inventory control.

Following through with policies and procedures.

Physical inventory planning and auditing.

Reporting to the regional operations manager.

Regular travel to locations throughout Ontario.
