"Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Program offers a variety of programs and resources for parents and professionals: Parent Workshops This one time workshop provides parents or professionals with an overview of the Program including the many benefits of signing, basic How Tos for Teaching babies to sign, and many of the most useful signs through games, songs, and entertaining activities. Infant/Toddler Play Classes A series of six theme-based classes generally offered over a 6-week period, with 45-minute sessions designed for parents and babies to attend together Early Childhood Educator Training The goal of this program is to help child care programs of any size-big or small-begin enjoying the benefits that come from incorporating signing into daily interactions between children and Teachers. Instructors can now offer Continuing Education Units Additional enrichment classes for parents and children from birth to age 5 Developmentally focused play classes that cover topics well beyond the focus of our traditional signing format. On the Grow, offers fun and exciting classes for parents and children (birth to age 5) to enjoy together. We provide training - in both infant sign language, early childhood development and a certification to teach the Program. Instructors also receive on-going support to start and grow a thriving program in their community. Both programs are self-paced, distance learning training programs, consisting of both written and video materials. They include ready-to-teach curricula, Business Administration documents, Marketing tools and resources, training DVDs and CDs and much more.
