Director, NA Quality

Florence, SC

Working closely with operations, purchasing and sales groups, the Director of Quality spearheads support and development of effective quality assurance programs, and drives continuous improvement in product and process conformance (ISO, QS, etc., and related safety models). Additionally, this individual leads long-range process-improvement development, cost-reduction efforts and capability upgrades, as well as facilitating lean-manufacturing implementation. This high-level, high-visibility role requires outstanding communication skills and an expert interpersonal orientation.

A background that entails working with external customer quality issues and managing ISO's within a manufacturing environment is sought. While experience in LEAN is preferable to SIX SIGMA experience, both are highly desired. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time are musts.
