We are an established manufacturing company seeking a leader for the role of Production Manager.

We are a Saskatchewan based manufacturer of  agricultural material handling products and brand compact utility loaders.  For over 50 years our products have been distributed through a world-wide network of dealers and distributors. 

This position is based in Yorkton Saskatchewan, center of the third largest trading area in the province serving a population of over 200,000 people.  Yorkton is a growing City that offers our employees a comfortable lifestyle with all the modern amenities of a family friendly environment.  

Overseeing the manufacturing production while working closely with the Operations Manager, the Production Manager plays a key role in leading and motivating the production staff and ensuring the quality and dependability of our products using lean manufacturing concepts. 

Responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute production schedules;
• Organize and direct production staff;
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts, and 5 S Continuous Improvement;
• Ability to improve upon productivity;
• Employee hiring, training and discipline.
• Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal  

This individual must have the ability to motivate staff, good knowledge of production flow and lean manufacturing concepts. The candidate would be responsible for all production activities in the factory and leading the O H & S program. The individual will need experience in a computerized manufacturing environment.
