Quality Manager

Peterborough, NH

Our client seeks a sharp, articulate individual who possesses the passion and high energy needed to manage Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including oversight of the QC/QA departments, personnel, gage lab, and overall quality functions impacting both vendors and customers. The Quality Manager also provides customer support and leadership in directing frequent third-party audits. Importantly, he or she will demand innovation and drive initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and escapes. A BS degree in Engineering (or a related technical field) and at least 10 years of work experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role is sought. A demonstrated track record of accomplishments as a Quality Assurance Manager, and a working knowledge of ISO and aerospace quality-management systems (AS9100) are also required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to represent the company well in critical situations, will also be key to success in this role.
