Parts Counter Person – Heavy Duty
Responsibilities:
- Daily functions of the parts operations, including ordering, backorders, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers
- Customer contact, order processing and selling of parts over the counter
- Ensure customer’s needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Maintain physical and electronic parts inventory
- Enter work orders
- Work and communicate with technicians
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2yrs+ experience on a parts counter or inside sales role
- Background in heavy equipment (school bus/coach/truck) an asset
- Communication and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Computer literate (ADP fleet connect, Excel, Word)
Working Conditions:
- Shop environment
- Monday to Friday schedule with some on-call as required
