We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse supervisor for our client in Ashburn. Our client is a well established produce distribution company, and is looking to add to their team. If you have proven leadership abilities then apply now for immediate consideration!
This position will involve day shifts, with rotational weekend shifts as well. We are looking for highly dedicated and well experienced supervisors who would be able to quickly integrate into our client’s team.
Tasks involved in this position include (but are not limited to):
- Managing processes within warehouse/production area
- Supervision for up to 10 warehouse associates
- Improving processes to ensure cost efficiency
- Hiring/firing as necessary
- Providing training as necessary
- Conducting performance reviews
- Overseeing timely and accurate shipping of products
- Preparing documentation
- Ensuring company standards and policies are adhered to at all times
As the ideal candidate, your qualifications should include:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of computers, inventory and database softwares
- Excellent leadership and English communication skills
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Own transportation is an asset, as this will be in a rural area
