Test Engineer needed to join our Quality Team in MA where we continue to develop innovative cleaning solutions and small household appliances. Responsibilities:

* Re-layout our Lab facility, procure test equipment and supplies and maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility

* Serves as a technical lead in the lab and guides, trains and supports junior lab technicians

* Develops internal test protocols and RMA process & standardize test report forms

* Institute record keeping structure for test reports and proactively report status of testing efforts

* Test products and generate reports per company specifications

* Teardown, debug, and analyze electro-mechanical small appliances and create troubleshooting guidelines for field returns

* Perform performance, safety and reliability tests with minimal supervision

* Review and interpret test results providing feedback on product improvements

* Deliver clear, meaningful and repeatable test results

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years experience testing electro-mechanical assemblies for a Consumer durable goods or consumer electronics company.  Skilled with lab maintenance, writing test procedures and RMA activities. Operating in a lead technical role and training lab technicians is required. Expert level electronics (analog/digital) and test equipment knowledge. Experienced in Returned product tear down, root cause analysis & Product development experience a MUST.

Desired:

Experience testing small appliances is preferred and knowledge of safety test protocols a plus.

Base Salary is 70K- 85K, Full Benefits and Bonus Eligible. NO Relocation Assistance nor Interview Travel Reimbursement.
