we require a purchasing agent that has worked in the public sector at any level of government including, local, provincial or federal government

The position requires the following qualifications:
-High School (Grade 12) plus an additional program of over one year and up to two years of purchasing or in a related discipline.
- Over two (2) years of experience in a purchasing public sector environment.
- Attainment of or working towards the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) completion of Modules 1-4 or National Institute of Governmental Purchasing Certification of CPPB.                                                 - - - You should also be working on or have PMAC
-Knowledge of PeopleSoft Purchasing module.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
-This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external customers.
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced, flexible, challenging, progressive environment.

YOU MUST HAVE PUBLIC SECTOR / GOVERNMENT PURCHASING EXPERIENCE!
