Marketing Manager

Basic Job Function:  

Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing/brand strategies to meet organizational objectives.  Create and develop from infancy stage all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.    

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BBA/BS in Marketing, MBA a plus and a minimum of 5 years in positions of increasing responsibility in brand management and product marketing preferably in a specialty retail food or hospitality industry.
  • Persuasive oral presentation and written communication skills and the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate a point of view and interact effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Proven ability to write, including experience in creating marketing pieces, press releases, advertising, PR, special events (planning, coordinating, executing), promotional material and presentations, in-store marketing (POP).
  • Advanced knowledge of social media tools to effectively market brand. 

Tasks/Responsibilities:  

  • Build a marketing plan on an annual basis with clear strategies between retail segments (including tools to be used such as brochures, newsletter, emails, phone calls, website, social media, point of sale and face-to-face interaction etc.)
  • Must originate strong marketing content and creative process to utilize various forms of media, including print, POS, web, social and organized client events.
  • Create and implement communication programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including brochures, menus, press, newsletters, emails, phone calls, networking, website, product fact sheets, signage, social networking sites, face-to-face or other promotional products.
  • Define and develop standards to build brand awareness in all media formats.
  • Track and maintain marketing budget
  • Successfully work with all other divisions within Citarella Group
  • In addition, other duties as directed by your Manager. 

Additional Requirements:  

  • Ability to travel to all our locations and to any corporate/sponsor events.
  • A strong knowledge of marketing, advertising and PR principles and practices.
  • Must have advance proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel
  • Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to create and nurture business relationships
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on your feet for extended period of time during events.
