Contract Furniture Designer / Space Planner

Senior and Junior level positions available.

Job Responsibilities include:
• Attend client planning meetings; develop plans and make presentations for customer review and approvals. Keep customer updated on projects.
• Conduct on-site field measurements and plan-to-site adherence checks
• Maintain detailed project documentation; manage changes and revisions as needed
• Adhere to timeline and budget restraints
• Conducts meetings with: client, contractor and subcontractor trades, vendors, etc. as needed

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area or equivalent in experience
• 3+ years contract furniture experience, preferably with a dealership
• Knowledge of CAD or CAP design software, drawing skills, cost accounting, contract language and blue print interpretation
• Customer presentation experience
• Project Management experience needed for senior level positions
• Must have outstanding organizational skills
