We are currently searching for a Project Manager with experience in Retail Systems for a position on the West Coast.

The Company:

Mobile software company focused on the retail sector. Patented mobile technology.

Company currently in an expansion phase.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years IT and project management experience working on Retail Systems.
• Must have experience in leading requirements gathering sessions and creating detailed functional design and technical documents.
• Must have experience managing multiple customer facing projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, client interfacing skills and presentation skills.
• Should be able to manage a team of developers.
• Experience with mobile applications and mobile hardware (Apple, Blackberry, Windows Mobile)
• The candidate must have worked in a consulting environment with experience working on multiple projects over different customers simultaneously. 

Responsibilities:

• Must provide proactive leadership and direction of personnel performing complex tasks. Plans, implements and maintains project organization structure.
• Lead and participate in formal and informal reviews, including System Requirements Review, Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews.
• Participates in certain aspects of end user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, vendor contracts and detail systems design.
• Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, significant issue tracking, and communication with project team on a regular basis.
• Work with developers, Quality Assurance, and implementation teams to deliver projects on time within budget.
• Conceives, creates, develops establishes and publishes new project management techniques, methods, procedures, approaches and standards that facilitate efficient software delivery.
