Sr. Contracts Advisor

Mt. Arlington, NJ

This role offers a true adventure for the professional who is interested in significant career growth to work both for the U.S. Defense as well as International Defense. Our client will depend on him/her to strengthen their objectives with contractual expertise, both locally and globally, and support their teams in the proposal, negotiation and follow-up stages of a contract. The Senior Contracts Advisor will serve as an expert on regulations (FAR/DFAR, CAS, etc), internal processes related to securing U.S. Government contracts. Reporting to the site manager in New Jersey, as well as the Director of Contracts in Norway, necessitates travel to Norway up to four times per year. To qualify, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience working with government contracts. Strong negotiations experience is key to success, as is a willingness to learn and grow in this career position.
