Quality Assurance Auditor – Internal

Alpharetta, GA

Our client’s Technology Services department seeks the above professional to provide quality assurance oversight with regard to quality systems compliance. This individual will audit and inspect general toxicology, environmental fate, residue chemistry and chemical characterization studies. Additionally, he or she will inspect/audit on-site and contract research facilities. This will include study-critical phases, equipment calibration/maintenance and documentation, test/reference substance receipt/storage/ archival and training records. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and have at least five years’ experience as a quality assurance auditor in the chemical/ pharmaceutical industries and/or contract laboratory setting. Thorough knowledge of current Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations, particularly EPA-FIFRA, 40 CFR Part 160, is a must for success in this role.
